This young girl (少女 shōjo) was the resident of a village attacked by a demon.
Appearance[]
This young girl had black hair that reached her mid-back, dark eyes, and wore a brown-ish dress over a white outfit.
Personality[]
This young girl was a big fan of Lady Jeanne d'Arc and blushed when Jeanne received her flowers. She shed tears in horror when the demon she thought was defeated approached her.
Plot[]
Shingeki no Bahamut Virgin Soul[]
Sometime after the war with Bahamut, a large demon attacks this young girl's village. The Orleans Knights arrive to slay the demon. As the demon destroys parts of the village, this young girl and some surviving villagers witness from a hiding spot as Jeanne d'Arc leads the Orleans Knights into battle.
The demon is eventually knocked down and seemingly defeated. As the Orleans Knights begin repairing the village, this young girl approaches Jeanne d'Arc with a handful of red flowers as a gift, thanking the saint for saving her and her people.
Jeanne is touched by the gesture and accepts the flowers. The two exchange heartfelt smiles as the other knights look on. Suddenly, the demon that was lying prone under a pile of rubble next to the pair emerges with a ferocious roar. The demon knocks Jeanne aside violently and approaches the young girl. Jeanne is too injured to rise and stop the demon from crushing the girl with its fist.
When Jeanne wakes up a while later, Kaisar Lidfard informs her that he and Dias Bardolomew took out the demon together. He also brought the girl's flowers and put them in a vase inside a room Jeanne now rests in. However, Kaisar apologizes for the girl's death as none were able to save her.
Jeanne's failure to save this young girl causes her fellow knights to speak ill of her behind her back. The event does not cost Jeanne her recently-restored captaincy, but the knights assume it's because the higher ups like having a "pretty female captain".
This girl's death becomes one of the events that haunt Jeanne in the coming years. Jeanne's failure was the direct result of her losing divine protection from the gods, who in turn had punished Jeanne for murdering three archangels during the conflict with Bahamut, another even which continues to haunt Jeanne d'Arc.
